Who We Are
* We are Brad and Laurie Bowen, husband and wife and we've been married for thirty-six (36) years.
* We are legal citizens, born and raised, of The United States of America, and have lived in San Diego for the past thirty-six (36) years.
* Mr. Bowen was born and raised in upper state New York, attended Bryant & Stratton College in Buffalo NY, served in the Military with honorable distinctions, is an award-winning artist and publisher, and is the primary designer and developer of real estate projects named "NorthStar Stadium Resorts Intl" and "New Venice Country Club" (see below)
* Mrs. Bowen was born and raised in San Diego, went to San Diego State University for television broadcasting, is an award-winning sales person and won $50,000 from a radio station contest in San Diego when she was younger (see below) and is the founder of a lottery club called "Laurie's Lotteri Club."

Business Organization
* Our project "The History Fund" is a "start up" project under the classification of sole proprietorship and will be set up as multiple LLCs in the immediate future.
* The Bowen's "The History Fund" is a division of "The Bowen Organization."
* A separate office will be set up for "The History Fund" in the near future.
Donations
* All donations of money, products, services etc are made by donors to help us find, purchase rehab, restore and manage those buildings in need of major and/or minor repairs and any donations are NOT tax deductible at this point in time (aka we are NOT a charity).
* All donations from donors are made with the full understanding that they are not receiving anything in return for their donation, except for recognition on our website and recognition in a Donor Book at each specific project.
* All donations from donors are made with the full understanding that the donations do not have to be repaid, a.k.a. "paid back" to the donor (donations are NOT loans).
* All donations from donors are made with the full understanding that the donations are NOT an investment in any product and/or service and/or company and/or building and/or project.
* All donations from donors are made with the full understanding that "The History Fund" cannot predict future events and cannot control certain natural events (aka "Acts of God" which is a natural hazard outside of human control, such as an earthquake or tsunami of tornado or fire etc, for which no person can be held responsible).
* This website, along with any fundraising websites and social websites, are NOT an offering of any legal securities of any kind.
Official Memberships:
* "The History Fund", at it's sole discretion, may or may not offer "Official Memberships" and/or "History Memberships" and/or "VIP History Memberships" in one or more of it's projects.
* If Memberships are offered, the details will be included on this website and/or for specific projects, as noted on this website.
* If The History Fund does offer "Official Memberships" and/or "History Memberships" and/or "VIP History Memberships" in one or more of it's projects, The History Fund reserves the right to set up the memberships at it's own discretion.
For example:
1. The Membership Fee for the Official Memberships are considered donations and no repayment of the donation is required.
and/or
2. The Membership Fee for the Official Memberships are considered "loans"from the Member to "The History Fund" and repayment terms will be explained and details given before any memberships are offered.
* Preference #1 above takes precedence (aka priority) in all cases unless The History Fund specifically states in writing that the funds received are a loan. If the funds are a loan, then a Membership Agreement MUST be signed by all Official Members who participate in the loan.
* Both packages or offerings above (#1 and #2) will include certain complimentary "perks" for the Member (and his guests) to enjoy (see below).
* Certain guidelines, requirements etc. will be required for each Membership.
* Official Members will have certain visiting and usage rights at the specific projects where they are an Official Member.
Examples would include, but not limited to:
1. Complimentary visitation rights to the project during certain days and hours.
2. Complimentary visitation rights to the dining and bar areas during certain days and hours.
3. Complementary use of the bedroom suites so many times per year (if the project has bedrooms).
4. Complimentary use of the sports, recreation and leisure facilities available at the project (ie: golf course, spa, tennis, pool etc).
5. Complimentary tickets for the "live entertainment" that are planned at the facility (if available).
6. Complementary use of the event facilities so many times per year (if available).
7. Complementary tickets to certain events held at the project.
* "The History Fund" reserves the right to make changes to, cancel and/or offer alternative "perks" at any time without notice.
Official Sponsors-Partners:
* "The History Fund", at it's sole discretion, may or may not offer "Official Partnerships" and/or "Official Sponsorships" to specific people and/or organizations and/or corporations and are offered as advertising/marketing packages in return for their participation and/or financial support.
* As an Official Sponsor and/or Partner, people and/or organizations will receive certain recognition at the project and in press releases, the media etc.
* Official Sponsors and/or Partners will also receive certain privileges and "perks" at each project they sponsor.
* Details will be included in the packages that "The History Fund" will include for each project.
Use Of Funds:
* One-hundred percent (100%) of all donations (funds from donors) and funds generated from Official Members and Official Sponsors-Partners, will be used to help us to do the following:
1. Search for and purchase projects that we can rehab, restore and manage.
2. Rehab and restore multiple projects in multiple locations globally.
3. And manage those projects into the future.
* Funds will be used to pay for all overhead (a.k.a. operations) which will pay for office leases(s), office equipment, fees, licenses, banking fees, taxes, tax and accounting services, labor, health insurance, salaries, transportation etc.
* Funds will be used to pay for professional services including architects, engineers, consultants, surveyors, historical specialists, construction experts, artisans, etc.
* Funds will be used for all building permits, zoning variances, occupancy permits etc.
* Funds will be used to hire consultants in historical matters and other specialties.
* Funds will be used to purchase and/or lease appropriate HVAC equipment, septic systems, energy generation and storage systems, water storage and purification systems, food growing systems and storage, furniture, supplies, accessories etc for all of the projects we rehab, restore and manage.
* Funds will be used to purchase and/or lease equipment for all rooms on the interiors of buildings and for all equipment needed for the exteriors of the buildings.
* Funds will be used to purchase and/or lease equipment and/or services for all entertainment, leisure, sports, recreation etc at all projects.
* Funds will be set aside in one or more accounts (banks and/or investments and/or annuities etc) to be used for emergencies and to make sure that we always have funds available for operations, maintenance, repairs etc.
* We reserve the right to make any and all decisions on the use and/or allocation of donations and/or Membership Fees and/or Sponsorship funds and/or profits generated from any and all of our projects.
Charity or Non-Profit Status:
* We are NOT a registered charity or non-profit at this point in time.
* We look at it this way: The History Fund will offer all Donors, Members and Sponsors much more value and satisfaction than any "tax deduction"can ever give you!
* When you participate and know that you've helped save a historic property, and you'll be able to visit the landmark project and receive complimentary "perks" (depending on whether you're a Donor and/or Member and/or Sponsor)... we're positive that you'll be happy!
Photos On Our Website
Building Photos:
* All or most photos on our website have a description under them informing everyone that "The History Fund" is not associated with the project and we don't own it and we didn't do any rehab work on the building.
* As we start to purchase projects to rehab and restore, we'll add that information to all photos.
* If you're the owner &/or manager of a specific building that is listed on our website, and we don't have a name or description, please send us an e-mail and let us know and we'll add the info for you.
* We would be happy to do so!

* All photos of people on our website, except for where there is a specific description under the photo stating who it is, are for illustration only and none of the people are employed at "The History Fund."

* All photos of products and/or items that we want to use in our planned projects are for illustration only and we reserve the right to use whatever products &/or systems that we feel would be appropriate for each project.
